Core Privacy Guarantee
AlgoDoctor is a 100% local Windows desktop application. We do not operate remote servers that harvest, ingest, store, track, or sell your YouTube analytics, video retention files, or Google Cloud credentials. All analytical calculations run locally on your hardware.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
Unlike cloud-based SaaS tools, AlgoDoctor does not have access to:
- Your YouTube channel revenue, subscriber identities, or raw viewer IP addresses.
- Your Google Account passwords or sensitive personal authentication tokens.
- Your unpublished video drafts, private scripts, or proprietary production workflows.
2. Google Cloud OAuth & YouTube API Usage
When connecting your YouTube channel via Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK):
- Client-Side Token Exchange:OAuth tokens are exchanged directly between your local PC and Google's authentication servers via a local loopback listener.
- Encrypted Token Persistence: Refresh tokens and API keys are stored securely on your local machine inside an encrypted local configuration store.
- Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy: AlgoDoctor adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. Local SQLite Data Storage
The desktop software embeds an ultra-fast SQLite engine storing your catalog metrics under your local Windows user directory (%APPDATA%\algodoctor\). You have full, uninhibited control to export, back up, or permanently delete this SQLite database at any time.
4. Software License Verification
To validate genuine license keys purchased via AppSumo or our distribution partners, the application transmits an anonymized cryptographic hardware fingerprint and license code during initial activation. This payload contains zero YouTube data, personal names, or browsing logs.
